Robot Wine Tasters

Hello, hope everyones hoildays are going good, and all looting done has been lawful.

This is an idea that ive been thinking about. Orginally from a small article in the telegraph about wine tasters. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/spain/8677291/Scientists-in-Spain-develop-electronic-tongue-to-rival-sommeliers-in-cava-tasting.html I thought this quite a funny little story- it could be set in england, 'Denbies' is a wine making place relativly near where we could set a few scenes. http://www.denbies.co.uk/

My initial notes were- Wine tasters replaced by robots- sad dispondent experts who drink heavily the wine that they have stolen from the factory but relise the wine their having is awful

Looking at this it seems a bit dumb and simple but what do you think?

The mystery of the Piano Man

This is an article about the Piano Man, a person who is suffering from an amnesia. He was found wandering around Kent in a wet suit and tie. Later they found out that he is a hell of a pianist but his origin is a mystery since he doesn't talk. The article came out in 2005, so there might be a chance that someone has made a movie about this already, but still this might be worth checking out.

I found this little story which I thought could be interesting. I feel that the characterisation could be very dark, as in overly enforcing the rules, like chucking people into bins etc... See what you think.

I found an interesting article about a Iraq war veteran whose life went downhill after he and his team accidentally killed a family in Iraq. After that he has had mental problems (seeing dead kids!), he became broke when the army apparently cut off his war pension and he even went to jail in some point. According to him the army failed to help him to get treatment for his mental problems. A lot of dark and heavy stuff. I thought the idea would be interesting since there isn't too many films concentrating fully on the problems war veterans face when they come back, plus it's a really contemporary theme with all the wars going on out there. Also a lot has happened to this war veteran, so it would be an interesting challenge for the director and the screenwriter to find a proper approach to the topic. A link to the article is below:

Responsible for the project was Heinrich Himmler, head of the SS. However, the factory, which would have made these dolls, was destroyed by Allied bombs that brought an end to Hitler's plan.

Hewo hewoo!! I hope everyone goooood and enjoying holidays. I've heard the weather in England hasnt been great. It's beauuuuuutiful in Finland though. SUCKERSSSS =D haha

I don't know if you have heard about the "sex scandal" which involves the former IMF chief Strauss-Kahn who apparently wants ( or wanted) to run for president in France I think and a hotel cleaner from a small town in west africa? was it? I cant remember now ( i'm at work but i've got the article at home.) But I just thought it was weird and funny how they started writing about the hotel maid and telling her sad story of moving away from Africa and then getting a good job and then something horrible like a rape attempt happens.
But then couple weeks afterwards, the news wrote that the charges might be dropped against Dominique Strauss-Kahn because the woman has some sort of a criminal backrgound and authorities think she's lying about the man trying to rape her.
But then a little bit after this another french woman accuses the same man of raping (or trying) her. And I'm still waiting for information on what's actually happening next.
Maybe this idea is more for a longer film. It kind of sounds like almost a cliché feature film where you know before seeing the film what's gonna happen but not sure HOW. And I'm sorry if I made this seem more complicated than it really is =P.
